Mayor Paul Cheng Meeting

On June 14, 2021, members attended a meeting with Paul Cheng, the Mayor Pro Tem of the city of Arcadia. He discussed the effects of his job and the decisions of the city council on the whole of the city. As Mayor Pro Tem, he is one of five elected officials, who works to better the lives of the people living in Arcadia. They operate on a city-level, discussing matters that affect citizens directly. Mr. Cheng spoke on how everyday citizens, even high-schoolers, can enhance the interactions between fellow residents. He helped us understand the importance of contributing to our community in any way possible, and the positive impact we can all leave on each other. We’re very glad to have had the opportunity to speak with him on such a personal level.
