14th Annual San Gabriel Valley Youth Summit Leadership Panel "Strength over Stress"

On March 18, 2023, our members Angela Ren and Sophia Ren were given the opportunity to speak as panelists at the 14th Annual San Gabriel Valley Youth Summit, hosted by Pacific Clinics. Youth4ward tabled alongside partner Center for the Pacific Asian Family, and had the privilege to be joined by their Community Youth Organizer, Nora, as representatives. The theme for this year’s panel was: Strength over Stress, and questions discussed were “How can we safely get to shore?”, “Who can we rely on for support?”, topics discussing how to manage stress, and more. Youth4ward youth representatives and leaders were joined with members from San Gabriel High School’s chapter of CPAF in answering these questions to an audience filled with youth learning about advocacy, leadership, and empowerment. Congratulations to Pacific Clinics on a successful event and panel, and to the other youth leaders speaking on behalf of CPAF during the panel!
